PBC ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, August 14, 2026

    NEW MEMBER WELCOME
We are thrilled that God continues to bring new people into the fellowship of Providence Bible Church. Peter & Carol Benson are the most recent to apply for membership.  They have completed all of the requirements for membership and have been interviewed by the elders.  We look forward to welcoming them as members.  This is being presented in accordance with the requirements of our constitution, which calls for such notice to be given at least three weeks prior to an official welcome into membership.

HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY TAKING A PAUSE
Zach Hunt would like to get the word out to all teens that the High School Bible Study is taking a pause for the month of August.  See everyone in September!!

    GET CONNECTED. GROW TOGETHER.
At PBC, Sunday School and Life Groups are where real relationships take root. These gatherings help us dig deeper into God’s Word, encourage one another, and walk faithfully through everyday life. If you’re looking for a place to belong, to grow, and to be known, we’d love for you to join a group. Your next step into community starts here. Everything starts in two weeks!  Please help us with space planning by registering before the deadline of August 30. For more information, stop by the new Ministry Cove in the church foyer, call the church office, or visit providencebible.org

    NEXT STEPS
New to Providence? We’d love to get to know you.
Our New Members Class is a relaxed, welcoming time to learn who we are as a church — what we believe, how we serve, and how you can grow with us. It is a six-week course that will be offered beginning in September.  If you’re exploring Providence or considering membership, this class is the perfect next step. Sign up today (providencebible.org) and join us as we walk together in Christ‑centered community.

     2nd SATURDAY MEN’S FELLOWSHIP
    “Men,

I want to personally invite you to our monthly Men’s Gathering tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. in Room C-8.

This is one of the few opportunities each month for the men of our church to gather together. Our desire is to see men growing into faithful disciples of Christ who encourage one another, pray for one another, and lead well in their homes, the church, and the community. We’ll enjoy breakfast, open God’s Word, and spend time together in prayer for each other and the church. I hope you’ll join us.”

    In Christ,

Scott Torres | Pastor of Discipleship

URGENT:  POWER PACK IS CALLING FOR A TEAM LEADER
PBC is responsible for four different pack-outs during the upcoming school year.  They will be August 24-28, September 14-18, February 15-19, and March 15-19.  There is a need for one person to say, “I will lead the team.”  And there is an additional need for about 6 people to follow the leader and help pack.  As the team leader, you may choose your day to pack (during the above mentioned weeks), and Jan Doucet will give you a quick and easy 5-minute training for the pack-out.  Time is short as the first pack-out is coming up soon.  Please prayerfully consider whether you could give an hour of your time during the weeks mentioned.  Jan Doucet would love to hear from you as soon as possible.

The Power Pack ministry team would like to begin collecting Welch’s or Mott’s brand fruit gummies again for this coming school year’s bags.
