WE REJOICE WITH ALL THOSE WHO WERE BAPTISED
We rejoice and give God thanks for the many who were baptized last Sunday and for the wonderful testimonies that were shared. God bless you, Samantha Downs, Debbie Fraser, Mark Fraser, Julie Gannon, Brady Jenkins, and Camden Pope.
NEW MEMBER WELCOME
We are thrilled that God continues to bring new people into the fellowship of Providence Bible Church. Mark and Debbie Fraser are the most recent to apply for membership. They have completed all of the requirements for membership and have been interviewed by the elders. We look forward to welcoming them as members. This is being presented in accordance with the requirements of our constitution, which calls for such notice to be given at least three weeks prior to an official welcome into membership.
PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CORRECTION !! WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT
This Sunday, September 27th, Jesse and Sharon Hunt will open their home for a worship and prayer night at 6:00 PM. This is an opportunity for anyone from our church family who is interested to join together and seek God in prayer for the harvest that is plentiful.

Lauchlin Lee would really like to find a few more church members who would be willing to serve on the counting (the offering) rotation. This would be an easy commitment after the Sunday worship service, about once every eight weeks.

MEN’S RETREAT • OCTOBER 16–17
Men, come enjoy an overnight getaway at Camp Shenandoah Springs in Madison, VA for fellowship, rest, and encouragement.

Cost: $75 per person
Meals provided: Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast & lunch

Sons are welcome if they can participate and self-regulate. Payment is required for all attendees.
LIFESPRING VISION DINNER – FALL 2026
The LifeSpring pregnancy center is hosting a vision dinner on Oct 9th & 10th. If you would like to join them and hear about this great ministry, please see Lisa Mason and/or Bill and Sydney White. Registration for this event will be closing October 1st.

TRUNK OR TREAT OUTREACH EVENT OCTOBER 24, FROM 2-4 PM
This is a wonderful opportunity for our church family to connect with and serve our community. Each year, we welcome around 100 children and their families, and we’re praying for even more this year. To make this event a success, we need lots of helping hands and plenty of participation from our church family.
One of the highlights of the day is decorating vehicle trunks with fun, Bible-themed displays. If decorating isn’t your thing, don’t worry! We’ve put together a collection of easy, ready-made trunk decoration kits available on Amazon. Simply order a kit, open your trunk, and you’re ready to go.
There are many other ways to get involved as well. We’re looking for volunteers to help run games and activities, and we also need lots of donated candy for our young guests.

Our HFA ministry team is asking for donations of pencils, baseball caps, and bandanas during the month of October.
POWER PACK
The Power Pack ministry team appreciates continued donations of Mott’s or Welch’s brand gummy fruit snack packs. Thank you for your generosity and support of this ministry that helps to feed hungry school children on the weekends.
