Dear PBC Family and Friends,
Below you will find the SignUpGenius for our October 25 Fellowship Meal and our special celebration of Pastor Jarred and Christiane’s marriage.
We realize we are asking a bit more than usual for this event, and we are deeply grateful for your willingness to help. Our hope is that, as you contribute, you will share in the joy of blessing this happy couple and making this celebration meaningful for our church family.
Thank you for helping us create a wonderful time of fellowship, thanksgiving, and celebration as we rejoice together on this special occasion!
*Generally speaking, Aldi and most other grocery stores will put turkeys on sale starting as early as mid-October. Hopefully, everyone can find some good deals for this special occasion.
QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL BUSINESS MEETING TONIGHT!
It is that time of year again! We hope to see everyone this evening for the 7:00 PM Quarterly Congregational Business Meeting.
HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY
The high school Bible study is meeting tonight at 6 PM in the home of Zach and Sky Hunt. We invite the high school youth to join us!
PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CORRECTION !! WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT
On September 27th, Jesse and Sharon Hunt will open their home for a worship and prayer night at 6:00 PM. This is an opportunity for anyone from our church family who is interested to join together and seek God in prayer for the harvest that is plentiful.
MEN’S RETREAT • OCTOBER 16–17
Men, come enjoy an overnight getaway at Camp Shenandoah Springs in Madison, VA for fellowship, rest, and encouragement.
Friday, 4 PM – Saturday, 4 PM
Cost: $75 per person
Meals provided: Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast & lunch
Topics TBD.
Sons are welcome if they can participate and self-regulate. Payment is required for all attendees.

WE NEED SOME HELP
We are looking for a few more volunteers to serve in Children’s Church on Weeks 3 and 4. Investing in the lives of children is one of the most meaningful ways to serve our church family and help nurture the next generation in their faith.
The commitment is just one Sunday per month, and all lessons, teaching materials, and training are provided. For the safety of our children, background checks are required for all volunteers.

TRUNK OR TREAT OUTREACH EVENT
This is a wonderful opportunity for our church family to connect with and serve our community. Each year, we welcome around 100 children and their families, and we’re praying for even more this year. To make this event a success, we need lots of helping hands and plenty of participation from our church family.
One of the highlights of the day is decorating vehicle trunks with fun, Bible-themed displays. If decorating isn’t your thing, don’t worry! We’ve put together a collection of easy, ready-made trunk decoration kits available on Amazon. Simply order a kit, open your trunk, and you’re ready to go.
There are many other ways to get involved as well. We’re looking for volunteers to help run games and activities, and we also need lots of donated candy for our young guests.
