 2nd SATURDAY MEN’S FELLOWSHIP
“Men,

I want to personally invite you to our monthly Men’s Gathering tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. in Room C-8.

This is one of the few opportunities each month for the men of our church to gather together. Our desire is to see men growing into faithful disciples of Christ who encourage one another, pray for one another, and lead well in their homes, the church, and the community. We’ll enjoy breakfast, open God’s Word, and spend time together in prayer for each other and the church. I hope you’ll join us.”

In Christ,

Scott Torres | Pastor of Discipleship

KIDS MINISTRY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Kids Ministry is in need of Children’s Church teachers and Kids Sunday School helpers.  The commitment is once per month.  Teachers are responsible for preparing and teaching lessons.  However, all lesson plans and materials are provided.  Kids Sunday School helpers are responsible for assisting the teacher.  Helpers may also be students, in grades 6-12.  Background checks are required for anyone working with children at PBC.  Training will be provided.  We’re excited to welcome you to our Kids Ministry team as we come alongside families and disciple kids!  Contact Christy Solarczyk at christy.solarczyk@providencebible.org for more info!

URGENT:  POWER PACK IS CALLING FOR A TEAM LEADER
PBC is responsible for four different pack-outs during the upcoming school year.  They will be August 24-28, September 14-18, February 15-19, and March 15-19.  There is a need for one person to say, “I will lead the team.”  And there is an additional need for about 6 people to follow the leader and help pack.  As the team leader, you may choose your day to pack (during the above mentioned weeks), and Jan Doucet will give you a quick and easy 5-minute training for the pack-out.  Time is short as the first pack-out is coming up soon.  Please prayerfully consider whether you could give an hour of your time during the weeks mentioned.  Jan Doucet would love to hear from you as soon as possible.

The Power Pack ministry team would like to begin collecting Welch’s or Mott’s brand fruit gummies again for this coming school year’s bags.

CLOTHING SWAP – THE BEST BUDGET BLESSING EVER!
PBC will be hosting the bi-annual clothing swap on Saturday, September 5, from 8:00 AM – until Noon.  Bring clothing, shoes, toys, baby gear, and books your family no longer needs, and come find “new-to-you” items for your family!  Please come even if you don’t have anything to contribute – everyone is welcome! For more information on how to volunteer or where to donate supplies, please contact Stephanie Franks.
